They are renowned for their high-power range of hydraulic pumps, both fixed and variable displacement, such as the Series 90 (ranging from 42 to 250 cc/rev displacement with pressures up to 480 bar - 7000 psi), variable flow motors from the Series 51 (up to 480 bar - 7000 psi), and fixed and variable displacement motors from the Series 20 (up to 420 bar - 6000 psi).

In the intermediate range (up to 350 bar - 5000 psi), Sauer-Sundstrand offers axial piston pumps from the Series 42, as well as the Series 40 and Series 15 of pumps, motors, and transmissions.

In the realm of gear pumps, they developed the TFP50 range (up to 1.27 cm3/rev), TFP100 range (up to 7.8 cm3/rev), SNP2 range (up to 25.2 cm3/rev), SNP2.5/250 range (up to 45 cm3/rev), SNP3 range (up to 88.2 cm3/rev), and CP180 and CP222 ranges (up to 162 cm3/rev).

In the domain of hydraulic gear motors, they introduced the TFM100 range (up to 7.8 cm3/rev), SNM2, and SNU2 ranges (up to 25 cm3/rev), as well as the TAM2290 and TAU2290 ranges (up to 90 cc/rev).

In 2013, Danfoss acquired the shares of Sauer-Sundstrand, and the company was renamed Sauer Danfoss.
