The hydraulic product range of Danfoss is very comprehensive, from its extensive range of piston pumps and motors, its famous orbital motors, Turolla hydraulic gear pumps and motors, Comatrol cartridge valves, its proportional valves catalog, steering units, to electronic joysticks and controls.
In the range of hydraulic axial piston pumps, models such as MP1 and H1P for closed circuits and models from the series 45 and type D1P for open circuits stand out.
For hydraulic axial piston motors, Danfoss offers the efficient H1 series for closed circuits and Danfoss RDM motors designed for open circuits (very popular in ventilation systems as these motors incorporate a valve for changing the direction of rotation, which is advantageous in terms of efficiency and cost savings as it eliminates the need for additional valves, hoses, assembly time, and space). In fixed displacement, Danfoss has the efficient and compact MP1 motors.
In their gear pump and motor range, Danfoss offers aluminum-bodied pumps and motors in the SNP, SNM, SKP, and SKM series in group 1, group 2, and group 3 (currently under the Turolla brand).
However, what Danfoss may be globally recognized for is its orbital motors used in hydraulic systems across various markets and applications such as agriculture, construction, cranes, mining, forestry, garden equipment, industrial, fishing, and more. Danfoss orbital motors are available in a wide range of displacements and construction types: OMM, OMP (now OMPX), OMR (now OMRX), OMH, OMS, OMT, OMV, TMT, TMK, and more. Danfoss has also acquired the W series from White Drive Products (WD, WP, WR, WG, and WS) to expand into markets where applications have less demanding working conditions.
Building on the same orbital concept, Danfoss offers steering units, also known as orbitrols, in all configurations: without integrated valves, with valves, for open or closed hydraulic systems, with or without LS line, and more. Models include OSPB, OSPC, OSPD, OSPF, OSPM, and OSPQ, along with options for priority valves (OLS, OLSA), safety blocks (OVP and OVPK), and safety valves (OVPL and OVR).
In terms of hydraulic valves, the renowned PVG proportional directional valves are worth mentioning, known for their modularity and versatility in various applications. Another important range includes cartridge valves for integrated circuits (from the Danfoss ICS division, born from the acquisition of Comatrol).
In the field of electronics, Danfoss offers its joysticks and pedals under the PLUS+1 brand. Available models include JS, Legacy joysticks, and KEP3 pedal models. For control of PVG distribution valves, there are models like PROF1, PVRE, PVREL, PVRES, and PVRET.
